About
There have been so many times people have asked why I am running for office... And every single one of those times, I find myself reflecting on how I got here. I wasn't always involved in politics, nor was I the well-put-together mother and business owner that you see today. In fact, alongside my husband, I had to claw my way up from rock bottom.

Over ten years ago, after my husband was laid off, we lost everything. We put our stuff in storage, and we lost that too. We went from a beautiful home in the middle of Rockport to having absolutely nothing and were on the streets with two kids. And after years of paying thousands and thousands into the system—when we needed the help—it was not there!! Had we been able to save a fraction of that money, maybe we wouldn't have been homeless with two kids!! It was at this point I started paying attention to politics. Every tax, fee, fine, and regulation was the difference between feast and famine!! Here I am homeless, scraping change together to put gas in my car, and I'm paying for “green energy” upgrades to someone else's home!! How is that fair?! It isn't!!

In the ten years since (due to years of hard work, blood, sweat, and tears), our family has rebuilt. We've started a successful business working directly with fishermen and have put down roots in our community. Yet every single step of the way, the government has held us back!! As a result, I have made it my own personal mission to try and prevent other families from EVER experiencing what our family has experienced. It’s personal for me. As it should be.

If you support my campaign's push for the audit, lower taxes, smaller government, more support for our fisheries, and affordability, please consider signing up for my email list, following my social media, and/or donating!! We can win this—but I cannot do it without your help!!

FAMILY
Is what drives me. They also keep me grounded and sane. As a mother to two beautiful children that are currently seniors at Gloucester High School, I recognize the importance of leaving future generations the tools that are needed to not only succeed but also THRIVE. With well-funded schools, trade programs and a respectful community that we can all be proud of.

CULTURE
Having raised my family here, I am also well aware that "Cape Ann" isn't just a place - it's a way of life!! With our rich and vibrant history, the fisheries, and beautiful beaches - our local culture is something to be treasured. It's also deeply engrained and reflected upon in our local economy, where for every single fisherman? Seven other jobs are created.... like what we do. Marine Electronics!! Not to mention seasonal tourism. We must protect our fisherman, small business, and coastline at all costs!!
